Rhythm, musicality, and pure joy. Tap teaches timing, coordination, and confidence β and it's one of the most fun classes in the studio for dancers of every age.
Ages 6+
Energetic, expressive, and technically grounded. Jazz builds strength, flexibility, and performance quality while letting dancers develop their own style.
Ages 6+
High-energy, age-appropriate, and always current. Our hip hop classes build rhythm, athleticism, and confidence in a positive, encouraging environment.
Ages 8+
Where technique meets emotion. Lyrical blends ballet and jazz technique with storytelling β teaching dancers to connect movement to music and meaning.
Ages 10+
Creative, expressive, and technically challenging. Contemporary encourages dancers to explore movement, take artistic risks, and develop their own voice.

Ages 18+
It's never too late to start β or to come back. Our adult classes welcome complete beginners and returning dancers alike, in a supportive, no-pressure environment.
Dance builds skills that outlast the studio.
We're not just teaching steps. Our dancers learn to walk into a room, hold their posture, perform in front of an audience, and believe in what they've prepared. That confidence follows them into school, sports, and everything after.
Turning Pointe is built on character. Respect for instructors and fellow dancers, discipline in the studio, encouragement over competition β these aren't extras, they're the foundation of how we teach.
The studio becomes a second home. Dancers grow up together here β rehearsing, performing, and cheering each other on. Many of our families stay with us for years, and the friendships last much longer than that.

Every ballet dancer remembers the day. Years of ballet class, strengthening, and technique work β and then, finally, the fitting. At Turning Pointe, pointe is earned, never rushed. Our instructors evaluate each dancer's strength, alignment, and technical readiness before approving them, because doing it right protects both their bodies and their love for the art. When a Turning Pointe dancer rises onto pointe for the first time, she's ready β and she knows it.

We offer classes from age 3 through adult, across every level from complete beginner to advanced. Our ballet program runs through progressive levels including pointe, and we welcome adults who are brand new to dance as well as those returning after years away. If you're unsure where your dancer fits, we'll help you find the right placement.
Almost certainly not. We have dancers who started at three and dancers who started at thirteen, and both thrive here. Beginning classes exist at nearly every age level, and our instructors are experienced at bringing new dancers into the studio community and getting them comfortable quickly.
Most dancers take one to three classes per week depending on their level and interests. Our end-of-year recital is a highlight for our families, with rehearsals scheduled in advance so you can plan around them. We'll give you the full calendar at registration β no surprises.

We encourage our students to shop at The Dancing Shoe for all dress code necessities β shoes, leotards, tights, and everything else your dancer needs. As a Turning Pointe student, you'll be offered a discount.
