Tap

Ages 5+

Tap is rhythm you can hear. It builds timing, coordination and musicality, and it is consistently one of the most fun rooms in the studio — for five-year-olds and adults alike.

Tap Questions

Do we need tap shoes on the first day?

No. Come in soft shoes or sneakers for the first class or two, then pick up black tap shoes once you know it's a fit.

Is tap good for a dancer with no experience?

It's one of the best entry points. Tap is immediately rewarding, and the rhythm work carries over into every other style.

Can adults take tap?

Absolutely — our adult tap class welcomes complete beginners and returning dancers.
